It’s Not What You Think

This is a mental health digest that hopefully speaks to even the most skeptical. No meditations, no bean bags, just hard-won insights that I’ve gleaned from professionals and psychotherapists throughout my training.

It’s Not What You Think started because so much of what we think of as ‘normal’ is actually keeping us stuck. We are rarely encouraged to question or go deeper with our own thought processes. We also, sadly, tend to ignore our mental health in a way that we would never dream of applying to our physical health.

This newsletter aims to provide a weekly workout for the mind, taking an idea or theme that many of us struggle with and doing some serious strength training with it.

I hope you’ll find it useful!

About me..

I’m a therapist qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, currently halfway through my Masters Diploma to become a fully-licensed Psychotherapist.

I also acknowledge that I’m an opinionated free-wheeler. So these are ideas and perspectives for you to take on or discard as you feel.
